Spring Registration Ends Monday!!!!

We must have our uniform order in on 2/15 so we won’t be able to accept late registrations!

Boys & Girls Youth seasons for 1st - 8th graders will start the third week in March and run until mid-June.  Practices will start at the New England Sports Center in Derry one night per week (Girls on Mondays & Boys on Tuesdays) and will move outside 2 or 3 days per week once fields open around mid-April.  Games will be on Sundays.

Due to COVID concerns were allowing players to wait until we move outside to start practicing.

Girls Required Equipment: Stick, goggles, colored mouth guard, sneakers/cleats, water bottle (labeled), and uniform.

Boys Required Equipment: Stick, helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, colored mouth guard, sneakers/cleats, water bottle (labeled), and uniform.

Little Laxers will start at the beginning of May and run until mid-June.  Sessions will be held on Saturday mornings at 9:00 and the focus will be to have FUN and introduce lacrosse to young kids in a STRESS-FREE environment.  NO EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED!  Little Laxers registration will remain open until April 15th.

A US Lacrosse Membership is required for all participants for insurance purposes.

A proper fitting uniform will also be required for all 8U-14U players.  Boys are $75 and Girls are $80.  If your uniform from the past 2 years still fits you may use that one.

We'll be following all state and CDC COVID-19 guidelines to ensure the safety of the players and coaches.

2021 Winter Lacrosse Skills Training 

  • Players should not leave their cars and enter the Sports Center turf area until 10 minutes before their scheduled session. 
  • Parents are responsible to take any attendees' (participant and guardian's) temperature and monitor for COVID-19 symptoms prior to arrival.  Attendance is not permitted with any signs of elevated temperature, fever, or other COVID-19 symptoms. 
  • Coaches will take attendance at each session in order to provide contact tracing details if requested by the CDC.
  • All participants and spectators are to enter the facility through the front entrance and exit at the doors at the rear of the building.
  • No Players are to enter the turf fields until the previous group has cleared the area.
  • Only one parent or guardian per family or player is allowed in the sports facility.
  • Masks are required for all spectators at all times. 
  • Players are required to wear masks or face coverings while entering and exiting the facility and while playing on the field.
  • Any athlete, parent, or coach who experiences illness, fever, or symptoms of COVID-19 should not attend our training. 
  • Athletes or staff who traveled via public transportation, who had contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, or who traveled internationally should not attend our training for 14 days. 
  • Coaches and staff will keep a 6-foot distance from parents and athletes when possible and wear masks at all times in the facility.
  • No high-fives, handshakes, or huddles. 
  • Athletes should arrive at the field fully dressed, or get their equipment on at their vehicle. BAGS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ON THE TURF FIELD. 
  • All Athletes and parents should be entering Sports Center with masks on covering both their mouth and nose. Athletes should arrive at the field fully dressed.
  • Athletes should not touch each other's equipment, sticks, water bottles, etc. 
  • Athletes should not pick up balls with bare hands. 
  • Athletes must bring their own water, and should not share water bottles. Water bottles MUST be reusable and water/sports drinks brought from home. DO NOT bring one-time-use water/sports drinks bottles to the field (Dasani, Gatorade, etc.). 
  • Parents are asked to keep socially distant from each other, from the athletes, and from coaches while attending our activities. We do not want large crowds of parents/spectators around the perimeter of the playing surface.
  • Windham Youth Lacrosse will inform families if COVID-19 has impacted a Winter Skill event.  Per CDC guidelines, this is defined as having COVID-19 symptoms or testing positive for COVID-19 two (2) or less days after a Winter Skills event.
